Bay View Park Golf - Hole By Hole
Hole 1, par 3, 200 yds 'Coastal View'
A testing hole to start the course, complemented by a terraced green. The hole has some testing gorse bushes on the edges of the fairway, which are to be avoided.
Hole 2, par 3, 153 yds 'The Bungalow'
Although this is quite a short hole, a good shot is still required, especially if there is a strong breeze.
Hole 3, par 3, 230 yds 'Sovereign Harbour'
Wide-open fairway, which is very inviting, although a good shot is needed to reach the green.
Hole 4, par 3, 107yds 'The Clubhouse'
A short hole protected by bunkers just in front of the green. More difficult with the gallery watching!
Hole 5, par 3, 137yds 'Pevensey Levels'
Good wide fairway but avoid the out of bounds to the left by the practise area.
Hole 6, Par 3, 161yds 'The Crumbles'
Gorse bushes to the right can come into play, but one of the larger greens.
Hole 7, Par 3, 242yda 'The Big One'
Stroke index 1, the most difficult hole, a good 3 wood or a driver is needed on this tricky par 3. There is a small pond to the left of the green and slightly forward sloping green.
Hole 8, Par 3, 108yds 'The Little One'
As the name suggests, one of the easier holes, a gentle pitch to a flat green but beware going long as boundary woodland can catch you out.
Hole 9, Par 3, 217yds, 'Nearly There'
A good challenge to finish, 217 yards back towards the clubhouse, a tricky bunker protects the green from the right and out of bounds on the left. A par is an achievement!
